SNOW REPORT – Sunday Jan. 10 (afternoon)

We watch the weather at Calabogie Peaks like a hen waiting to lay an egg.  We are delighted to tell you that our own weather station and all our aps tell us that the warm blip on the radar will be “Hasta La Vista baby” and change over to snow about 9 PM this evening.

Groomers will be on the mountain all night putting down beautiful corduroy for Monday visitors.  In a critical supporting role our snowmakers will head out in the wee hours of the morning to continue their aggressive course of snowmaking and terrain expansion.

We are heading back into winter temps and ideal snowmaking conditions for the next two weeks.  Our mountain operations team currently have 11 trails open with so much more to come.  Check out our up to the minute terrain status report to see what’s open, where we’re making snow and general ski and ride conditions.

Look forward to seeing you at The Peaks this week.  Pre purchase your tickets online for convenience and remember – if you think about making it a getaway stay – check out our wonderful hotel specials

See you soon!
